Saturday, June 30 - 8th Annual Spotsylvania Stars & Stripes Spectacular
Come out for a full day of diverse music, kids' activities, historical tours, demonstartions, food vendors, colonial re-enactors, fire and EMS volunteers, capped by the first-class WJ Vakos fireworks display! Admission is FREE and FREE Shuttle Bus service will be available from Courtland High School during and after fireworks. Most entertainment is free, but some does cost money...plan accordingly. Wednesday, July 4 - Fabulous Fourth at Ferry Farm
July 4th will be here soon and you're invited to come celebrate at Ferry Farm. This annual event features historic interpreters, crafts & games, entertainment, a flag ceremony, food vendors, and much more. This year's theme is "Symbols We Hold Dear." Time: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission: $1 per person (free for ages 2 & under) Click here for more details.
Wednesday, July 4 - Heritage Festival July 4th Firework Spectacular
Beginning at 06:00pm, the University of Mary Washington Community Symphony will be on hand to perform a variety of songs to satisfy everyone’s musical interests. At 9:15pm, the sites and sounds which are the hallmark of every July 4th celebration begin. Your family will be amazed as the fireworks rocket into the sky high above the Rappahannock River. Bring your portable chairs and non-alcoholic beverages to either Brooks Park or Pratt Park. Parking is free.
