Sales Administrative Assistant
B101.5 and NewsTalk1230 WFVA have an immediate opening for a Sales Administrative Assistant. This position requires a minimum high school education with an emphasis in a commercial or business curriculum plus one year experience as an administrative assistant. This person should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills to include the latest Microsoft Office products. Previous experience with Arbitron is a plus.

Part-Time Promotion Assistants
WBQB-FM/WFVA-AM, Promotions & Marketing Department is looking for Part-Time Promotion Assistants. You must be enthusiastic, outgoing, fun and motivated to join our Promotions Crew. You'll act as an ambassador for Fredericksburg's most successful broadcast outlet.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete set-up and tear-down for all station remotes and appearances from broadcast and sound equipment to tent and table. You MUST be fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
You must have a flexible schedule and be available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license and good driving record. Responsible for driving station van and station employees to and from events.
The bottom line is we’re looking for someone who can get the job done, have fun doing it and is not afraid to get their hands dirty!

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an at-work relationship with our market’s 18-49 year-old females. We’re #1 in middays…can you keep us there? Prep is a must, in addition to production skills and public appearances/live broadcasts. A minimum of 3 years full-time on-air experience and knowledge of Hot AC, AC or CHR music is required.
