(Caroline)- A Ruther Glen man was killed Monday night after the vehicle he was driving veered off road, striking a tree. The crash occurred approximately 9:25 p.m. around the 30000 block of Old Dawn Rd. in Caroline County.
The Trooper’s preliminary investigation revealed that a black 2013 Hyundai sedan that was operated by 48-year old Ricky Foster was traveling at a high rate of speed, veered off road, striking a tree. The Hyundai sedan caught on fire. Foster was alone in the car. He was pulled out of the vehicle and transported by Med Flight to MCV hospital where he died.
