(Richmond)- Virginians heading to the DMV can now check in with their cellphones when arriving for an appointment. The agency says this is a way to streamline people’s visits. Customers can use their phones to scan a QR code inside the DMV, answer the questions that pop-up then wait for their number to be called. Those who prefer not to use the new online system can still check-in at the information desk.
