If You Got a Tag… Fill a Bag! BSA Scouts in Stafford are “Doing A Good Turn” starting the weekend of November 2nd distributing door hangers to Stafford County for their annual food drive, Scouting For Food, to be held on Saturday, November 9 to benefit local food pantries. BSA Scouts are asking Stafford families to fill a bag with non-perishable items such as canned proteins (tuna and chicken); nut butters; meat-based soups, stews and chili; canned fruits, beans and vegetables; whole grain pastas and rice; multi-grain low sugar cereals.
Scouts will return to tagged neighborhoods Saturday, November 9 starting at 9:00AM. Please place bags on your front doorstep or by your mailbox for pick up and to be taken to various Stafford pantries. No tag but still want to help?
