(Stafford)- Stafford County on Saturday dedicated it’s first all-inclusive park at Chichester Park. Stafford has nine ADA-accessible playgrounds, but none are considered all-inclusive. To be all-inclusive, a playground must accommodate the wheelchair-bound and individuals with limited strength through ramps and special features.
Rob and Alexa Harris, parents of a Falmouth Elementary School student, and a team teachers and physical therapists formed an unofficial committee for an all-inclusive playground. In March, the Board of Supervisors authorized the purchase of equipment.
