If You Got a tag… Fill a bag! Stafford BSA Scouts are “Doing A Good Turn” starting the weekend of November 2nd distributing door tags to Stafford County and MCB Quantico residents for their annual food drive, Scouting For Food, to be held on Saturday, November 9 to stock local food pantries. BSA Scouts are asking for residents to fill a bag with non-perishable items such as canned proteins (tuna and chicken); nut butters; meat-based soups, stews and chili; canned fruits, beans and vegetables; whole grain pastas and rice; multi-grain low sugar cereals; and hygiene products such as diapers, toilet paper, tissues, soap and toothpaste.
Scouts will return to tagged neighborhoods Saturday morning, November 9 starting at 8:30AM. Please place bags on your front doorstep or driveway for pick up by scouting units who will take it to various Stafford pantries.
