The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is excited to announce that it will host the 2nd Annual Holiday Market, FAMFaire in the historic Market Square on December 14, 2019, from 10 am to 5 pm. This event will be a spectacular outdoor shopping experience in one of the most beautiful parts of our notable town. These traditional German-style markets are based on the holiday tradition that began in Nuremberg, Germany, dating from the 16th century. Our holiday market will include vendors selling traditional crafts and foods. It is the perfect environment to invoke the holiday spirit while friends, families and neighbors stroll along tents filled with gifts and treats. This event is all about bringing people together and our community with entertainment provided by local choirs and school music groups.

This event is FREE and open to the public with traditional German beer and food for sale (must be 21 years or older).
