Stafford BSA Scouts are holding a No Contact Food Drive May 16 between 10AM and 3PM to fill Stafford pantries. BSA Scouts are looking for donations of canned protein (tuna, chicken); peanut butter; meat-based chili, soups and stews; canned vegetables, fruit and beans; pasta sauce; dry pasta and rice; and hygiene items such as diapers, wipes, soap, toothpaste, etc.
Scouts may be picking up donations from doorsteps or by mailboxes or be creating drop boxes in their neighborhoods. Residents need to look for flyers in their paper boxes, emails or messages on community pages. If a resident has not seen anything from scouts, they may bring donations to one of the two drop off points where our scouts will take them in a manner consistent with guidelines promoting safe social distancing as per the VA. Dept. of Health. For more info, please go to the events listed on the Aquia District – National Capital Area Council, BSA Facebook Page.
