If You Got a Tag… Fill a Bag! BSA Scouts in Stafford are “Doing A Good Turn” starting the weekend of November 6th distributing door hangers without contact to Stafford County for their annual food drive, Scouting For Food, to be held on Saturday, November 13 to stock local food pantries. BSA Scouts are asking for residents to fill a bag with non-perishable items such as canned proteins (tuna and chicken); nut butters; meat-based soups, stews and chili; canned fruits, beans and vegetables; whole grain pastas and rice; multi-grain low sugar cereals; and hygiene products such as diapers, toilet paper, tissues, soap and toothpaste.
Stafford Scouts will return to tagged neighborhoods Saturday, November 13 starting at 9:00AM. Please place bags on your front doorstep or by your mailbox for pick up without contact by scouting units to be taken to various Stafford pantries. No tag but still want to help?
