AWAY is a contemporary suspense ballet about underground culture and sickening stigmas, regrettable wishes to turn back time, and the fight to love whomever we love without the threat of hate. Set amid a Rear Windowed murderous engagement party, we meet two heroines pushing to survive as society screams for them to find an Exit.

ABOUT US:
We are Fredericksburg’s professional body-positive dance company, Company 360 Dance Theatre. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to make dance a more accessible and inclusive art form by training and supporting dancers of all strengths and backgrounds, while creating top tier live performances and dance films, daytime conservatory training, and nonprofit ethos every show and season.
Currently, we are in rehearsals for our eighth original show “Away,” which we will be performing this November at the Donald and Susan Reed Theater in Fredericksburg and the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas. Over the years, we have been featured in various docu-series, Pointe magazine, and on the CW Network for our moving approach to movement. Last summer, we were honored as the first body-positive dance company to perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, proving to the world that a dancer’s size does not move an audience… movement moves an audience.
Our dancers span from Youth ranks to Professional, and our evolving push towards “story over status” and “art for all” includes dozens of full time scholarship students, audience experiences, and acts of service in our community abound — and thanks to our community around.
