The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is pleased to announce their fall Homeschool Investigators program, Dinosaur Discoveries. Homeschool Investigators focuses on hands-on learning through teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities. FAM’s homeschool programs are designed for children ages of 5 – 12-years old with a range of learning abilities and styles.
On Wednesday, November 8th from 10am – 11:30am, families will become paleontologists and explore FAM’s newest exhibit Stomp FXBC. Using their observation skills, students will study local fossils, compare dinosaur characteristics, make their own dinosaur track and much more!
FAM welcomes all children accompanied by an adult. Program tickets are $5 for FAM members and $8 for non-members. All attendees over the age of two must purchase a ticket. Tickets are available for purchase at (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/homeschool-investigators-dinosaur-discoveries-tickets-731383617087). Please note the museum will only be open to ticketholders.
