The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is pleased to announce their spring Homeschool Investigators programs. Homeschool Investigators focuses on hands-on learning through teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities.
Dinosaur Discoveries (March 20th, 10am – 11:30am): Families will become paleontologists and explore FAM’s newest exhibit Stomp FXBC. Using their observation skills, students will study local fossils, compare dinosaur characteristics, make their own dinosaur track and much more! This program is designed for children ages 5 – 10 years old.
FAM welcomes all children accompanied by an adult. Program tickets are $8. All attendees over the age of two must purchase a ticket. Tickets are available for purchase at (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/homeschool-investigators-tickets-837973971707?aff=oddtdtcreator). Please note the museum will only be open to ticketholders.
