Mary Washington Hospital Foundation will host the 2020 Power of Pink Virtual Breast Cancer Walk to benefit Mary Washington Hospital Foundation’s Breast Cancer Fund. This year’s 2.2-mile walk will take place virtually to ensure the safety of everyone during the COVID-19 pandemic. Groups are not encouraged in light of safety concerns, and we ask that participants please adhere to distancing restrictions in effect.
Walk anytime and anywhere you choose between Friday, October 2 and Sunday, October 4. Walk in support of families, friends, neighbors, relatives, and coworkers that are, or have been, affected by breast cancer. Dress in your best PINK attire and share your photos virtually! Prizes will be awarded for the best PINK outfit for Males and Females within various categories based on age and gender! If you have a dog or pup that will be walking along side you, dress him/her in their best PINK outfit for a chance to win a prize. Are you ready to lace up your sneakers and take a walk in your neighborhood? At your favorite park? On your treadmill? It doesn’t matter where you walk, you are making a difference!
