Youth Auditions for Actors and Singers ages 5 to 17, male and female. This is a workshop and educational experience and is fee based. Children will be taught all aspects of the production process, acting and singing skills, as well as proper stage presence. There will be no less than three two-hour rehearsals per week, for about 12 weeks. (Some characters will have limited rehearsal schedules, while others may have more.) As the play dates get closer, some additional scheduled rehearsals may be added. All children will be properly chaperoned during these rehearsals so parents can have peace of mind, while running errands in town. The cost per child for the entire production and rehearsal training is $150 for the first child and $30 for each sibling. Scholarships may be available. Also looking for adult crew, assistants and stage hands. In person auditions will be held on Saturday August 17 at 1pm-3pm, and Sunday August 18th at 1pm-3pm at 810 Caroline Street Fredericksburg VA 4th floor. Monologues and favorite songs are welcome, but not required. You can read from the script and sing from key songs in the play. Google Anastasia the Youth Musical for song titles and lyrics.
