The Blue Star Mothers of Fredericksburg are hosting the July Fourth In Fredericksburg’s Children’s Roll N’ Stroll. We are pleased to announce DREES HOMES as this year’s sponsor. Children and adults are invited to participate on the 4th of July. The participants will line up at 9 am at the downtown VRE parking lot at the corner of Caroline Street and Frederick Street. The stroll will follow Caroline Street from the train station to Market Square. Parents are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children and must pick up their children immediately at the end. Prizes for best child and adult patriotic costumes and best-decorated bicycle and wagon/stroller will be awarded. The Judging is from 9:10 – 9:20 am, and winners will be announced at 9:25 am. We’re Rolling Out at 9:30 am. There is no VRE parking. No floats or motors, please. Spectators are needed to line the parade route.
