Corgi Clay LLC is currently a small business that sells pottery and teaches ceramics in a home setting. Only 4 students can be accommodated in her studio per class due to space and equipment available. She realized there is a need for a larger space when over 100 people registered for the first in-person lesson she advertised.
Balestreri states in her Kickstarter campaign, “This campaign is meant to help me develop a physical creative space to share with this community, where you can come and take classes, learn something new, be creative, and enjoy working alongside your community members. I am turning my semi-professional home studio into an entirely professional and public-facing actual art center operation, and I am asking you to help me make that happen.”
