The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is excited to announce the launch of a new quarterly family afternoon program series, FAMFun! Each program focuses on a FAM exhibit and begins with a special guided tour designed specifically for families. Afterwards, children and their caregivers are encouraged to participate in an interactive activity, experiment or art project inspired by the rich stories of the Fredericksburg region. This program is FREE and open to the public.
The first program in this new series will be FAMFUN! Kid Curator. Are you interested in knowing what happens behind the scenes at a museum? On February 8th from 1pm – 2:30 PM, families will learn what it takes to become a museum curator, and how to handle and care for artifacts. This program is FREE and open to the public. Due to limited spots, RSVP is required. Please contact Theresa Cramer at tcramer@famcc.org or 540-371-3037 x 138 to RSVP.
