The FMMA supports Masonry and its history in Fredericksburg. The first meeting of the Fredericksburg lodge was in 1752 in many of the taverns and restaurants of the town and were held that way until the lodge was built. Masonic lodge was built in 1816 and Masonic Cemetery in 1798 in Historic Fredericksburg. The FMMA supports the historic lodge building, cemetery and the museum that is in the lodge with the many artifacts like the George Washing Masonic Obligation Bible, Lafayette’s hat and punch bowl and many others.
