Calling all Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts!
George Washington and his sister, Betty, learned how to dance to gain the skills required by 18th-century society. Did you know? Dancing involves good communication and even teamwork to be successful! You can dance in the footsteps of George and Betty by completing the Brownie Girl Scout Dancer badge with The George Washington Foundation, learning some 18th century moves that he and Betty would have learned too.
How did George Washington (and his siblings) tell time, do math, and predict the weather without 21st-century technology? Learn some of the math skills GW would have learned to figure out all those things (and more) by completing the Junior Girl Scouts Numbers in Nature badge with us at Historic Kenmore!
