It’s our 5th Anniversary so let’s celebrate! Hosted by Fifty-Third Winery and Vineyard to benefit the Louisa Humane Society, this is a closed course, fun event for the whole family. This year we are doing a fun 80’s theme and encourage you to dress up for our 80’s costume contest! Starting with a one mile kids run for 13 years and under and followed by a 5k run/walk for others over the beautiful vineyards, all are welcome to register for our timed event! We also have a one mile Dog Jog for the last wave where you and your pooch can walk or run together. For our long-distance supporters, consider the Virtual 5k where you can run or walk your 3.1 miles and send us your selfie to post! Registrants who sign up before 7 a.m. May 15 are guaranteed a t-shirt and all participants 21 and over get a delicious glass of wine at the finish. Virtual runners will get a ticket redeemable for a glass of wine when they visit the winery. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each race, as well as to top fundraisers for those who chose to do so. A DJ will pump you up at the starting line with some retro 80’s tunes and snacks and water will be waiting at the finish. Whether you feel more like a Spuds Mackenzie or a Pound Puppy or simply want to show up for the wine, we just want you to have a great time!
