Join the rangers as we explore the natural beauty of Widewater State Park, and learn the park’s history along the way. Visitors will hear stories of some of Widewater’s first residents, the Patawomeck Tribe, and their relationship with the flora and fauna of the peninsula. Rangers will then have the opportunity to show guests what is happening in the park now, and what will happen in the future.
The hike will take place rain or shine. Make sure to dress for the weather, bring plenty of water and bug spray. Registration for the event is not required.
