The first musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be produced for the professional stage has wowed audiences for over 50 years. The groundbreaking rock opera, set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events, is seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospel, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus’ life, exploring the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, the disciples and followers, and the Roman Empire. Contains such well-known numbers as “Superstar,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Gethsemane.”

Jesus Christ Superstar runs from March 12 through April 27, with 5 shows per week, including 2 matinee performances.
