Join us at Historic Kenmore for a fun-filled morning investigating nature in Kenmore’s garden! We will have story time, explore the garden, and make a themed craft to take home. Following the program, children and their caregivers are invited to take an abbreviated tour through the historic house or explore the visitor center gallery.
This nature session will explore learning how plants grow, how to care for a garden, and what kinds of insects and animals might be seen in a garden. Kids will take a walk with magnifying glasses to observe different plants and creatures.
The Mini-Mornings program series introduces young learners (ages 3-6) to our museum spaces. Children and their caregivers participate in a story time and related craft or activity while exploring George Washington’s Ferry Farm or Historic Kenmore.
Free for children with adult admission. Note: all children participating in the activity must be registered to ensure an accurate head count.
