Rooftop Productions is spreading the Christmas cheer early! “Elf the Musical” celebrates the holidays with this dazzling production based upon the hilarious New Line Cinema film written by David Berenbaum. Follow Buddy the Elf (unaware that he’s actually a human) as he ventures from the North Pole to bustling New York City to find his birth father, only to discover he’s on the naughty list! With a lot of determination and misadventures, Buddy shows his new family and New York City the true meaning of Christmas. With book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and directed by Ted Ballard, this new holiday classic will surely have you filled with laughs and cheer.
Performances will be November 30-December 15 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 2pm at the Center for the Arts, 9419 Battle St., Manassas, VA.
