It’s time for our 3rd Annual Toys For Tots Benefit Tournament, the TOY BOX SCRAMBLE! Join us for an ALL DAY Derby event! Four teams of toys will go head to head to see if they are the best toy in the toy box. Will it be the Blue Bunnies, the Pink Ponies, the Purple Bears or the Green Toy Soldiers? Each team will play in 3 of 6 mini (40 min) games. Doors open at 9 am, first whistle at 10 am!
For the past 3 years Fredericksburg Roller Derby has hosted a Toys for Tots Benefit scrimmage, and this year we are excited to announce that we are turning this into a tournament! $5 from each ticket will be donated directly to Toys for Tots, and as a 501(c)3 we are proud to donate 10% of all of our profits to OUR charity of the year, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank. Spectators are invited to bring a toy to donate. Bringing a toy will “purchase” a raffle ticket for items that our vendors have donated and will be raffled off.
